Microblading

Microblading is the art of applying semi-permanent colour to the eyebrow with an incredibly fine sterile blade. Tiny precision hair strokes are drawn delicately, mimicking the natural direction and length of the brow to create a perfectly shaped eyebrow that can last up to 18 months. Pigments are then implanted into the channels created by the micro blades in the dermal layer of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but with the local anaesthetic, you should not feel any discomfort.

With this method you can create fine curved hair strokes which can give a more natural appearance than regular semi-permanent makeup. Finely drawn hair strokes mimic a real hair in thickness and direction of growth. Every hair is drawn individually allowing you to build a completely individual look.

Microblading penetrates into the epidermis, which is the top layer of skin. It is a technique executed by hand only, giving the technician complete control. The colour is applied by dipping the blade into the pre chosen pigment to suit the individual client and pulling it through the brow; creating a small incision and implanting the colour under the skin. Hairs are drawn one by one.

As with the permanent makeup treatment the area will look 40-50% darker than the colour you have chosen in consultation, but this will fade within 3-4 days to reveal your chosen colour. The treatment generally takes around 1 hour and will leave you with highly defined, ultra-realistic looking brows.
